THE CHALLENGE
Mac's Convenience Stores required a fresh, innovative and interactive online experience to drive the summer promotional campaign for their Froster brand of frozen carbonated beverages. Media Dog's challenge was to create an online experience that was both relevant for the target audience of 13-17 year olds while delivering tangible information and real time statistics to Mac's executives that would aid in brand management and drive store sales of complimentary products.
THE SOLUTION

Creative Intelligence to develop an in-store promotion encouraging Mac's customers to visit froster.ca to win great prizes including Xboxes and Ipods. A custom Flash game and a refreshing, cool design positions the Froster brand as innovative, youthful and engaging to the target audience.
Media Dog's solution incorporates an extensive custom database, in-depth security, and a statistical tracking engine in addition to being built upon our proprietary content management system,
Conductor CMSPro. Additionally, a branded email tracking solution delivers up dynamic content to registered visitors with ease. These tools help Mac's marketing professionals analyze data on their customers' purchasing habits, demographics, product preferences and in-store experiences.
THE RESULTS
Media Dog is proud to have earned this national online campaign for five consecutive years. The 2005 edition was the most successful ever with over 48,000 users having registered at froster.ca with the site receiving over 1,400,000 unique impressions. Mac's marketing and product retailing units also gained valuable information about their customer's product preferences, opinions and in-store experiences.
